Item Special Note

Thoughts:  "I was inspired by a passage from Emily Dickinson passage, which reads “Hope is that thing with feathers which perches in the soul and sings the tune without the words and it never stops at all.”   I wish everyone who has large challenges to face the gifts of courage and hope.  My primary medium is fabric and paint but was pushed out of my comfort zone with this project.  I choose to make things that are a comfort and “pretty”.  I am not naive to all the pain and suffering that is contained in life.   My intent is to offer a brief respite from all those concerns."

Materials:  fabric, text & ribbon

Size:  Initial mannequin size - 19" w x 23" h
