Item Description
8x10 framed autographed photo of NY Giants David Tyree making famous Super Bowl helmet catch.
Many will call Super Bowl XLII the greatest football game they have ever seen. The Giants would not have won had it not been for David Tyree's unbelievable play, which has since been deemed the "Miracle in the Desert." In the 4th quarter, the Giants were faced with a third-and-long situation. With pressure from the defense being applied as soon as the ball was hiked, Eli Manning made his great escape from the Patriots defense, twisting and turning until he could throw the ball. Then, Tyree would make a catch that would immortalize his name among Super Bowl greats. Jumping up to receive Manning's pass, Tyree would clutch onto the football with one hand, holding the ball against his helmet. The play resulted in a first down, and eventually, a Giants touchdown that would lead them to the Super Bowl crown. David Tyree has hand-signed this 16x20 photograph of that great head catch, which comes professionally double-matted and framed and with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Great preswent for NY Giants fan! Great for Christmas or Chanukkah
