Cheryl Bigman is a professional photographer who lives in the San Francisco Bay area, specializing in custom portrait art of children and families, High School seniors, and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. She brings to her work everything that makes a photograph memorable - both the highest technical proficiency, an artist's sensibility, and an open heart.
In her own words, she describes what she most loves about her work as "....capturing real moments between real people. Natural, organic, unposed moments. Moments where I feel moved inside."
Cheryl is well known to the Chelsea's Hope Families because she has traveled all over the United States (at her own expense) photographing many of the Lafora children. Her work has been invaluable to the Chelsea's Hope mission of heightening awareness of Lafora Disease. By the way, the first picture above is Cheryl's portrait of Chelsea. The second is Kristen.
