Item Description

Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to grab your very own Carnival headdress from Carnival Couture!

"IKO" has a real hand-sewed Mardi Gras Indian patch adorning its center. It's profile is approximately a foot tall. It fastens in the back with velcro and is therefore adjustable. It is virtually weightless and can fit heads up to 24 inches around as is, but can be extended if necessary.

A Little Bit About Carnival Couture...

2010 was our first year making headdresses for the public. It was always the case that we made costume pieces and party accessories for ourselves and our friends, but not until the demand started to grow that we began selling our handiwork around town.  The undeniable success and overwhelming support that we received from our community at large let us know that this business is our beautiful path of creative manifestation.

Not only did we adorn the heads of countless Mardi Gras revelers, but we were also blessed with the honor of creating custom themed headdresses for a 35 person float in the magical all women’s parade of MUSES!

Our materials are so various due to our eclectic nature as individuals.  We love to recycle pretty little pieces of New Orleans culture or any suitable cosmic debris that lands in our way, regardless of where our journey's have taken us.  Anything light and bright and festive inspires us and makes us smile...and when we smile, the love is mirrored in our craft.
