Almaden Valley Athletic Club, or AVAC, is a health and fitness club that offers a variety of services such as swimming, tennis, weight training, massage, yoga as well as support groups. It is renowned for its swim and tennis classes.

Location: 5400 Camden Avenue, San Jose, California.

Club History:

Since 1976, the Almaden Valley Athletic Club has been a favorite destination for San Jose families. Located on the site of a former walnut grove, the 6 1/2-acre facility began as a racquetball and tennis club. Throughout the years, the club's owners have consistently upgraded the equipment, programs and services to meet members' changing lifestyles.

* Certificate may be redeemed for a Free Month (30 days) OR Certificate waives the enrollment fee and the first month's dues, should a family or individual decide to join the club on a monthly basis. All monthly dues are collected electronically (EFT). This membership can be cancelled with a 30 day written notice.

* Not valid for use by current members of the Almaden Valley Athletic Club but feel free to give your gift certificate to a family member or friend that might like to try AVAC as well.

* One certificate per family (strictly enforced).

* It is not necessary to join AVAC to redeem your certificate, however, FREE MONTH

certificate MAY NOT be redeemed during months of January, June and July unless an EFT agreement is signed. Please contact our membership department to discuss your options.

* The certificate may not be combined with any other offer, redeemed for other services and has no cash value which includes AVA's referral program rewards compensation (strictly enforced).

* Recipient must be an adult over the age of 18 and have original certificate.

* Not valid for someone who has participated in a trial promotion within the past 12 months unless an EFT agreement is established. Please contact our membership department to discuss your options.

* AVAC reserves the right to cancel certain programs or classes; some programs may not be available at all times.

* AVAC is not responsible for any misrepresentation of this donation.

* A Fitness Family Membership may consist of up to two adults (married couple or registered domestic partners) and their three children between the ages of 6-20 years, living in the same household. Children 0-5 years are included in membership at no additional fees for swimming privileges.

* Certificate does not include access to tennis courts. For an additional enrollment fee & dues the membership can be upgraded to include tennis privileges.

* Certificate is void after 6 months from the date of the event, unless prior arrangements have been made with the director of membership.

* It is not necessary to join AVAC to redeem certificate however - FREE MONTH certificates may not be redeemed during the months of January, June and July, unless committing to a membership (EFT). Recipient must meet with our membership department to begin their FREE Month.

* Not valid for use by any current members of Almaden Valley Athletic Club or by one who has participated in this promotion in the past 18 months.
