The 2011 Cactus Hill Pinot encompasses and concentrates all the aromas of the Estate Pinot captivating your nose and mouth. Vanilla bean, mushrooms, clove and cedar embellish the jammy berry aromas. The wine is a cocktail of raspberry, blackberry and black cherry augmented with clove and allspice. Hints of violets and a touch of smoke make the aromas intriguing. Flavors of black current (cassis) and raspberry and blackberry preserves linger on the palate for a long finish, luring you back for the next glass.
