Item Description

Express your inner world with Tibetan Buddhist themed necklaces, bracelets, and earrings from TaraJewel starting with this Carved Tara and Turquoise Necklace.

Tara is known as the "mother of liberation", and is the flawless expression of the inseparability of emptiness, awareness and compassion. She is a tantric meditation deity whose practice is used by practitioners of the Tibetan branch of Vajrayana Buddhism to develop inner qualities and understand outer, inner and secret teachings about compassion and emptiness.

All items are one-of-a-kind or small editions of a piece. One of the advantages of jewelry handmade from natural materials is the variations that occur. Each piece is truly unique, no less so with TaraJewel's creations.

Details: The Tara in this Tibetan Buddha Carved Tara and Turquoise Necklace is carved and dyed yak bone. It is 25 mm high, 20 mm wide, and 11 mm in depth, and encased in Tibetan silver. The Turquoise and Bali beads are 4 mm and 8 mm in diameter. Overall the necklace is 20 inches long and has a Tibetan silver heart shaped lobster clasp. All necklaces come in a Tibetan Bead Prayer Bag or a custom made crochet bag.
