Item Description
Twin Souls celebrates the love and friendship between two women.
Sculptor Rochman Reese says of the piece that "When you turn the sculpture in your hands, you will see and feel how one partner spirals lovingly into the other. Is there a point where one partner ends and the other begins, or is love just a continual spiral of movement and energy in the dance of life?"
Rochman Reese was born in Australia and spent many years wandering to strange places around the world. His sculptures are influenced by many different cultures. All his sculptures are intended as a sensual experience. "A good sculptural work," he says, "calls out to be touched as well as looked at. In my work I try to create artworks which evoke an instant tactile response."
