2007 Kennedy Shah Reserve Cabernet Franc: 
Aged for 22 months in 65% new French oak.
(35% used French oak)

Ripe and rich flavors of cherry and anis emerge generously against refined tannins. Clean, structured and full bodied with a very tasty and lengthy toasty finish.

 

2008 Kennedy Shah Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon:
Aged for 22 months in 100% New French Oak.

This textbook Red Mountain Cabernet has a hefty and ripe feel, but with gentle and stylish flavors of cassis, blackberry and fig, which are harmoniously complimented by notes of coffee and roasted vanilla. The finish has a well orchestrated lengthy depth to savor in its complexity.

 

2008 Kennedy Shah Reserve La Vie en Rouge:
Aged for 21 months in 100% French Oak.
(65% new, 35% neutral)

A beautiful blend with perfect aromatic freshness of expressive fruit with a mouthfeel of nice, soft texture and prominent tannins. The subtle finish promises a nice evolution in the near future.

 

2008 Kennedy Shah Reserve Malbec:
Aged for 24 months in 55% new French oak,
25% new American oak, 20% neutral oak.

This rich & ripe Malbec displays dark espresso & mocha aromas leading into lush plum sauce, braised ripe fig & dark blueberry flavors. The long, creamy finish brings it all together very nicely.

 

2009 Kennedy Shah Reserve Petit Verdot:
Aged in 45% new French oak, 65% neutral French oak.

This Petit Verdot has a beautiful, deep color with aromas of violet, cedar, white pepper & black plums along with lovely floral notes. Moderately full bodied on the palate & subtle with soft & supple, lingering tannins on the finish.

 

2011 Kennedy Shah Reserve Riesling:

Creamy yellow peach with tangerine and kiwi make this off dry Riesling rich and elegant. Floral notes and bracing acidity lead to a long finish with lingering minerality.

 

2008 Kennedy Shah Reserve Syrah:
Aged for 22 months in 70% new French Oak,
30% neutral French Oak.

Fresh, vibrant and full bodied. This expressive and juicy Syrah shows great depth and concentration as it gains richness and attention-grabbing tannins on the prolonged finish.

 

2009 Kennedy Shah Reserve Tempranillo:
Aged for 15 months in 20% new French Oak,
30% new American Oak, 35% neutral French Oak,
15% neutral American Oak.

This lively Tempranillo is nicely focused with crisp black cherry and plum fruit framed by toasty and herbal accents. Light tannins and juicy acidity add balance and depth to this cellar worthy effort.
