Item Description
The Santa Fe Native American Culinary Delight package includes your choice of a private lunch or dinner cooked by chef Lois Ellen Frank at her home, a demonstration-style cooking class for 2 and 2 nights lodging at Hotel Santa Fe and a handmade pot by Birdell Bourdon of Santa Clara Pueblo in New Mexico.
Enjoy a private lunch or dinner (your choice) by James Beard Award winner chef and photographer Lois Ellen Frank at her house. Experience her delicious Native American recipes with a twist, as Lois serves to her guests through her catering events by Red Mesa Cuisine. Lois is the author, chef, photographer and winner of the 2003 James Beard Foundation Award in the Americana category. Take home a signed copy of her award winning cookbook, Foods of the Southwest Indian Nations: Traditional and Contemporary Native American Recipes.
Take a demonstration-style cooking class at the Santa Fe School of Cooking, an internationally acclaimed recreational cooking school which offers a variety of Native American and Southwestern style cooking classes. It showcases local New Mexican agriculture and food products as well as the unique cultural heritage and distinct cuisine of the region.
Spend two (2) nights for two (2) people in a Picuris Junior Suite at the Hotel Santa Fe, The Hacienda and Spa, Santa Fe's only Native American-owned hotel, located in Historic Downtown Santa Fe. As you arrive on the grounds, you are struck by the building itself. Sitting in harmony with its secluded wildflower gardens and mountain background, the Hotel's design is based on the multi-level, terraced adobe pueblos first built by New Mexico's native people a thousand years ago.
Pick up a piece of Native American pottery that is waiting for you at Tin Nee Ann Trading Co. handmade and signed by Birdell Bourdon of Santa Clara Pueblo in New Mexico. See more about Tin Nee Ann here: https://www.facebook.com/TinNeeAnn.
A Native American culinary delight!!
