Item Description
Moonstone Crossing's Elysian Fields is a California Red Wine with grapes from Amador Countty's John Bree Vineyards. The description of this wine: The Greeks took the noble Aglianico grape to Southern Italy some 2,500 years ago. This blend of Aglianico (83%) and Sangiovese (17%) results in a robust wine having eartthy scents of blackberry brambles, anise, violets and creme brulee with flavors of black cherry, expresso, cedar and tobacco. The muscular tannins offer plenty of grip which lengthens the finish. Barrel aged in French oak for 41 months. Neither fined or filtered. This is a Double-Gold Award Winning Wine.
