Item Description

Are you ready for some football? Our lucky winner will take home an official Chicago Bears helmet, signed by Jermon Bushrod, and Matt Slauson - former SAY Honoree and a person who stutters!

Matt Slauson started 48 of 51 games played for the New York Jets (2009-12) before signing with Chicago during the 2013 off-season. He did not allow a sack in 2012, and helped the Jets rush for no less than 1,600 yards each season since he became a full-time starter in 2010 (1,896 in 2012; 1,692 in 2011; 2,374 in 2010). Slauson has started all 16 contests, in each of the last 3 seasons. He recovered the football in the end zone for a touchdown at Denver (11/17/11). He has started all 3 postseason contests played during his career.

Jermon Bushrod is a two-time Pro Bowler (2011-12) in his first season in Chicago after starting 62 of 66 games played in six seasons (2007-12) at left tackle for New Orleans. During his time as a starter for New Orleans (2009-12), the Saints offense allowed just 96 sacks, tied for fewest in the NFL, led the NFL in total offense (413.6 ypg) and was second in scoring offense (29.7 ppg). While a starter along Saints line (2009-12), their offense ranked in the top five in NFL for fewest sacks allowed each season. Bushrod started all 16 contests in each of the last three seasons and anchored the Saints offensive line during their Super Bowl Championship season in 2009, starting 14 of 15 games played. He started all six postseason contests played at left tackle, including at the Super Bowl XLIV.
