Item Description
The mask is something player Semyon Varlamov would work. He has represented Russia in nine major international events, including the 2010 Olympics, 2014 Olympics, three world championships (2012, 2012-13), two world junior championships (2006-7) and a pair of world under-18 championships (2005-06). Varlamov, also known as "Varly," idolized Patrick Roy growing up, and his favorite team was the Colorado Avalanche. He reached the 33-win mark for the first time in his career in the 2013-14 season. From Varlamov's recent success, the Colorado Avalanche signed him to a five-year contract extension through 2018-19.
The mask was designed by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment creative department.
