About the artist:
Miguel Cuauhtémoc is a Mexican artist best know for his oil and acrylic paintings as well as sculptures. His works have been part of exhibitions in the National Centre of Arts, the Institute of Culture in Guanajuato, and galleries in Mexico City. His work "Hetereocromía on oil” was winner of the contest Art 40 of Proyecto 40 Television.
Jazzamoart, considered one of the top five living artists in Mexico, has been the guide and teacher of Miguel Cuauhtémoc for several years. Miguel Cuauhtémoc studied at the Design School of the National Institute of Fine Arts and at the San Carlos Academy, both in Mexico City. His main influences come from abstract, figurative and brute art as well as artists like Manuel Felguerez, Vladimir Prodanovich, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
