Were in an exciting era for creativity! The iPad is the 21st century artist's portable art studio: a pencil case, paintbox, sketchbook and canvas all rolled into one. With the iPad you can enjoy the ease, fun and fulfillment of drawing and painting on the go with the minimum of fuss and no mess! This bid item is a private one day iPad art workshop in which you and up to 7 others will learn how to use your iPad for drawing and painting. It is based on the "Paint on the Go!" one day workshop (http://www.paintboxtv.com/paint-on-the-go/). Your instructor, digital art pioneer Jeremy Sutton, was the featured iPad live painting artist at the opening of the de Young Museum's David Hockney "Bigger Exhibition" in 2013 (http://jeremysutton.com/inspired-by-hockney) and will be performing iPad painting at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington D.C., and teaching iPad painting at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, this summer.In this workshop you'll learn how to optimize your iPad for painting and organize, manage and share your art on the iPad. Using apps such as Sketch Club, Art Set Pro and Art Rage, learn how to set up and determine the size and orientation of a new canvas; choose, control and modify brushes, tools and colors, work with layers; capture textures photographically on your iPad and then use them as backgrounds for painting; and, where possible, record, replay and export video recordings of your painting process brush stroke by brush stroke.No art experience/education needed. THis is a beginner class suitable for all ages and levels of experience.
