Ride the ELMIRAN TROLLEY for a one-hour tour into Mark Train Country graciously donated by the Chemung Chamber of Commerce. The ARNOT ART MUSEUM is a landmark jewel in downtown Elmira. Housed in the 1833 neo-classical Arnot family mansion, it is one of the last remaining private art collections formed in the 19th century still exhibited in its original showcase. The Museum displays a permanent collection of 17th to 19th century European paintings, 19th to through 21st- century American art and collections of Asian and Egyptian artifacts. As a museum member, you may visit at any time during Gallery hours at no charge.
