Ride the ELMIRAN TROLLEY for a one-hour tour into Mark Train Country graciously donated by the Chemung Chamber of Commerce. The ARNOT ART MUSEUM is a landmark jewel in downtown Elmira. Housed in the 1833 neo-classical Arnot family mansion, it is one of the last remaining private art collections formed in the 19th century still exhibited in its original showcase. The Museum displays a permanent collection of 17^th to 19^th century European paintings, 19^th to through 21st- century American art and collections of Asian and Egyptian artifacts.
