Enjoy a visit to historic Seneca Falls, home of the first Women’s Rights Convention in 1848.

Enjoy a two night stay at the beautiful JOHN MORRIS MANOR BED & BREAKFAST located just 3 miles from the center of Seneca Falls, on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. Your visit to the WOMEN’S RIGHTS NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK will begin at the Visitors Center where you will see the first Women’s Rights Convention organizers at “The First Wave” statue, explore exhibits and view “Dreams of Equality”, a dramatization of the First Women’s Rights Convention. A guided tour will take you to Wesley Chapel, the site of the first women’s rights convention, and to the home of Elizabeth Cady Stanton.

The NATIONAL WOMEN’S HALL OF FAME is the nation’s oldest membership organization dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of great American women. The mission of the NWHF is “Showcasing Great Women…Inspiring all.” To date 247 women have been inducted in to the National Women’s Hall of Fame including Amelia Earnhardt, Harriet Tubman, Lucille Ball and Hilary Rodham Clinton.

The SENECA MUSEUM OF WATERWAYS AND INDUSTRY illustrates how the Seneca River and the Cayuga-Seneca Canal powered the rise of industry and fostered cultural development, helping to spread social reform movements in Seneca Falls, Seneca County and the surrounding region. You will receive a personal tour of the museum exploring the hands-on displays, intriguing exhibits and artifacts.
