Item Description

The Institut de Français in Villefranche-sur-Mer, 10 minutes from Nice's city center, is arguably the world's leading French immersion program and is strongly endorsed by our Alliance Française. Attending the Institute and spending time in this historic medieval village on the Mediterranean's deepest natural harbor is truly an experience of a lifetime and a wonderful complement to studies at your local Alliance. Director Emeritus Linda Witt, like many other Portlanders, has attended the Institute and recommends it highly, "The Institut's program is unique, effective and has drawn motivated language learners from the world over. The teachers are exceptional and the experience is inimitable. You will be living, breathing, and dreaming French, non-stop, along with other motivated learners from all over the world."

This certificate is valid for attending the first two weeks of the Institut's 4-week monthly sessions - choose from the sessions held Nov. 23-Dec. 18, 2015 --or-- Jan. 4-29, 2016 --or-- Feb. 1-26, 2016 --or-- Feb. 29-March 25, 2016 --or-- April 4-29, 2016*. Adult students of any level can win this prize, with the exception of True Beginners. The certificate covers the 2-week program, plus weekday breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks served at the Institute. The winning bidder has the option (recommended, indeed!) to extend the course by an additional two weeks at the standard program fee.

Package includes a Portland coffee meeting and program orientation with Linda Witt prior to departure. Adults only; note that transportation and lodging are to be paid separately by the winning bidder.

* If needed, the certificate can be extended to offer similar months (Nov.-April) of 2016-2017.
