Item Description

Field & Vine is a full service catering and events company connecting greater Portland with Oregon's wine & farm country. Their signature events are the "Dinner in the Field" farm and winery dinners. Owner Chef Pascal Chureau, formerly of Fenouil and Lucier, invites the winning bidders (a party of two) to enjoy this unique experience that showcases local farmers, winemakers and the rich and bountiful land of Clackamas County, Willamette Valley and the Gorge. Choose from a large number of dinner events (based on space availability) that feature fresh seasonal ingredients straight from the host farm and local purveyors.

At each Dinner in the Field, you'll arrive on your own, or in Field & Vine's timeless school bus. Then warm earth underfoot, and the sweet scent of the season lingering in the air. Glass in hand, and wine tickling your taste buds, you'll stroll through the vineyard or farm, guided by the winemaker or farmer's expert hand and tales from the vine and root.

You'll wander back to the long community tables, placed center perfect in the field, candles and wine glasses glimmering in the late evening sun. Relaxing into each of the seven courses expertly prepared by Field & Vine and sipping from the wines of Oregon, you'll taste the native ingredients of the Northwest, sourced as often as possible straight from the host farm or surrounding farms. For dinners hosted in the early spring or winter, the event will be held in a tented area, rain or shine.
