Scardello is a cut-to-order cheese shop focused on handcrafted cheeses and tasty accompaniments. We have about 150 handmade American, Texas and European cheeses. At Scardello, we embrace our role as “Cheese Enthusiasts” by sharing our excitement with our guests. Scardello provides high quality, artisan products and accepts a responsibility to our world, our community, our guests and each other.
Not Just Cheese! Scardello offers several accompaniments to their fabulous cheeses.
Antipasti – Dazzle you party guests with these fantastic spreads and mostardas.
Beer –We carry craft beer from around the world to pair with everything from clothbound, farmhouse cheddar to pungent washed rind cheese.
Bread and Crackers – Slow-rise, handmade baguettes from Empire Baking Co. are hand-made using traditional methods and NO short-cuts.
Charcuterie – Traditionally cured meats from Creminilli and American Proscuitto from La Quercia tantalize the taste buds.
Coffee – Café Ibis roasts their coffee at high altitude and selects beans that have been triple certified (Fair Trade, Shade Grown and Organic).
Condiments – Make your next dish pop with brilliant jams and jellies, varietal honey and tart and spicy pickles. (You might even want to pick up a jar of the world’s best peanut butter!)
Oils – Made from cold-pressed olives that are hand-picked to ensure only the ripe ones see the wheel.
Pasta –When true Italian pasta is pressed through copper dies and slowly air dried, you can taste the difference.
Salt – Taste our hand-gathered salt from flats across world.
Sodas – Enjoy refreshing Italian sodas and sparkling water.
Sweets – From smoked salted toffees to chocolate made by the only artisan chocolate maker in the United States to process his own cocoa to locally made Dude Sweet chocolates, we can satisfy your sweet tooth.
Wine – Our thoughtful selection of small production, hard-to-find wines offers loads of pairing choices.
