Item Description
Myron Redford, one of Oregon's most distinguished wine pioneers, has been consistently recognized in the regional and national press as one of Oregon's top Pinot noir, Pinot blanc, Riesling and Gewurztraminer producers. He started his winery in 1976 and became the first US producer of true Gamay noir in 1988, from cuttings from France. Today Amity Vineyards remains the leader with this varietal.
Myron has contributed to the development of the Oregon wine industry as a mentor to other winemakers, a member of the Oregon Wine Advisory Board for eight years and a past president of the Oregon Winegrowers Association. He is known for his generosity to our region's nonprofits, including his years-long participation in Portland's renowned Beaujolais Nouveau festival at the Heathman.
Myron and his wife Vikki generously donate this handpicked 4-year horizontal of Pinot Noir - four six 750ml bottles include:
- 2005 Amity Vineyards, Winemaker's Reserve, Willamette Valley, Oregon Pinot Noir
- 2005 Norman Hardie, Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada, Pinot Noir
- 2005 Foley, Santa Rita Hills, Rancho Santa Rosa, California, Pinot Noir
- 2005 Patricia Green, Polk County, Anden Vineyard Oregon, Pinot Noir
