Item Description

This trio, donated by Alliance and FACC board members, includes tastes of both Oregon and France.

  • Bottle of Cathedral Ridge Pinot Noir 2010, Columbia Gorge Dampier Vineyard ($46 retail). Cathedral Ridge was Oregon’s Winery of the Year 07, thanks to the superior microclimates of the Columbia Gorge, accomplished fourth generation winemaker (Michael Sebastiani), regionally skilled grape specialists, and a classic and time honored winemaking process ($46).
  • Bottle of Cooper Mountain 2012 Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley); this vintage provides both power and elegance on the palate. This wine offers layers of red fruit, spice and a supple, velvety mouth feel. Critical Acclaim: WS90.
Wine Spectator - "Supple, vibrant and expressive, with black olive and mineral nuances to the black cherry and spice flavors, persisting on the open texture." It's currently sold out but retailed at $20.
  • Bottle of Champagne Charles de Marques from France - made from just Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. ($20 retail).

Enjoy!
