This is a limited edition espresso coffee cup with saucer, from Rosenthal Studio Linie - Espresso Sammeltasse nr 9, Kontrollstelle 3. The saucer is dated and individually signed, 13-10-1974, by the artist. Bjørn Wiinblad (20 September 1918 - 8 June 2006), was a Danish painter, designer and artist in ceramics, silver, bronze, textiles, and graphics. His work has been shown widely in Europe, in the United States of America first in 1954 and in Japan, Australia and Canada in 1968. Museums the world over have Wiinblad's work in their collections. Among these are the Victoria and Albert Museum in London; the Museum of Modern Art in New York; and Stockholm's National Museum.
