Item Description
Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa! Join a group of climbers in June 2016 to raise funds for a new rural school to be built in honor of ASAP’s tenth anniversary. We will begin our adventure in Moshi, Tanzania, a quiet, small town at the foot of majestic Kilimanjaro. From Moshi, we’ll head to the north side of the mountain and climb it via the Rongai Route, a route that is similar from a time and acclimatization standpoint to the very popular Machame Route...but has far fewer people on it. The climb will be led by professional mountaineering guide Jake Norton (www.mountainworldproductions.com). This package is a 10-day itinerary and covers all your fees (airfare not included).
