Item Description
As you may know, my paintings are all about color. At nine years old, I was diagnosed with dyslexia and I was learning in a totally different way than the “norm.” I learned by sight, smell and sound. Do not give me a book…I learned…give me a paint brush. I consider my “Dick-slexia” (as I always thought was all my own), a gift and talent. Expose the eyes to an object and let the brain lead you to create what you see, smell and feel. The smell of oil paint is a drug for me and painting may be my best form of relaxation. I have never cared what anyone thinks of my works, as long as it makes me happy.
Item Special Note
All doors are exterior doors and vary in size; generally are 82” x 36” or slightly less. Please measure your door frame if you intend to install as a door.
Doors were seasonally weather-proofed but not guaranteed to withstand outdoor elements indefinitely; purchasers should treat accordingly.
Artists retain the copyright of door designs; may not be reproduced without artist’s permission.
Gently used poles for in-ground installation sold separately, $20/set
Winners of doors may take them home that evening or pick up at Tredegar the following day, October 25th, from 1 – 4 p.m.
Pick-up is also available at the Art on Wheels Studio: 3108 W Leigh St. during the following times:
Monday Oct. 26, 9:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Wednesday Oct 28, 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
