Item Description
"This is the best thing I have ever done," said artist Lisa Remeny when she finished this most recent piece: "Tall, Dark and Handsome, (Mas Bambu Grande)."
This giclée print reproduction is printed on archival rag paper, 19" x 13" packaged for display.
The tropical latitudes have long been the source of inspiration for artist Lisa Remeny. In 1980 she made her first visit to Jamaica, a defining journey that ignited her passion for tropical travel. During the next decade Remeny resided in both Jamaica and Florida, resulting in a deeper affinity for all things equatorial - sunlight and moonlight reflected on clouds and sea, lush fruits, exotic flowers and palms. From the Caribbean to the South Pacific, Remeny interprets her surroundings through paintings ranging from here to there... surreal to photo real. Remeny is that special artist whose work changes the way her fans see the natural world - for the better.
Remeny lives in Coconut Grove, and paints on location throughout her travels in the tropics. Her work is in private and public collections worldwide.
