Karen teaches students for the PSAT, SAT and ACT, as well as the ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, TOEFL and GRE. A Brown University grad with over 20 years' experience as an academic and test prep teacher, Karen tutors students in person in New York City and internationally via Skype. She specializes in reading, writing, grammar, math, and preparation for standardized tests for students from 5th-12th grades and beyond. Karen previously taught for The Princeton Review and later founded Boston Academic Tutors, producing PSAT and SAT courses for The British School in Boston and Summer@Brown University, among others. A parent of two recent college graduates, Karen understands families' concerns about the test prep process and enjoys excellent rapport with students and parents.
