Item Description
The winner of this package will receive two tickets to The Las Vegas Philharmonic's Cabrera Conducts Mozart.
Tickets are premium price level A seats on the orchestra main floor of Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center to the Las Vegas Philharmonic's Cabrera Conducts Mozart Concert on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 7:30 PM.
Concertmaster De Ann Letourneau takes center-stage for Brahms’s violin concerto marking her solo debut under the baton of Music Director, Donato Cabrera. The technically demanding, lyrical concerto shares a gypsy spirit with the Bohemian winds found in Mozart’s “Prague” symphony, written in the Czech city a century earlier. The concert opens with Company, Philip Glass’s arrangement of his String Quartet No. 2 originally composed as a score to a Samuel Beckett poem and marking the orchestra’s first performances of a work by the famed American minimalist.
