Item Description
Small leather pouch (approximately 5" square, 2" deep) features a hand-tooled, dyed and painted portrait of an adorable black Labrador face on its flap. Pouch has a loop and snap-closure to allow it to hang from waistband or belt. This beautiful pouch contains a strong velcro closure. The pouch is handy to carry treats, waste bags or other dog walking necessities, as well as any of your smaller important items, such as keys or cell phone.
Pictured on the pouch is the face of a black Labrador laying down on a green and red background, with a chocolate-colored outline encircling it laid over the beige pouch body. The dog is sporting the typical "love me, take me home eyes" that Labs so often do.
Item Special Note
The process of hand tooling leather begins by first scribing a design on wet leather with a stylus. While the leather is still damp, the design is then carved into the leather with a sharp knife. Then a series of small tools are used to punch down, lift up and otherwise "sculpt" the design to give it a 3-D effect. Once the leather is dry, dyes are applied to bring a life-like appearance to the design. A leather varnish is then applied to protect the work.
