$25 gift certificate to any one of three Portland restaurants:
Local 188 features tapas, paella & other Spanish cuisine plus drinks in an eclectic setting full of local art. Staying true to Maine’s seasonal offerings, Executive Chef Jay Villani, Chef de Cuisine Emmet Helrich and Sous Chef Adam Goldberg construct a menu that is both innovative and familiar. Ingredients are sourced from local farmers, foragers, and fishermen. Many components of the menu, such as breads, charcuterie, pickled vegetables, and desserts, are prepared in-house. Local 188 has its roots in Spain but draws influence from all over the Mediterranean to create a unique blend of old and new.
Salvage BBQ is a "self service” or “quick service” restaurant. That means you order at the counter and we’ll bring your food to the table. If you decide to sit at the bar you can order from your bartender. The dining room is a nice wide open space with plenty of room for the kids to run around. We also have a couple of vintage arcade games . Seating is communal at the long picnic tables or you can choose one of our 50's dinette tables. Our smoker is fueled entirely by Maine red oak. The Salvage bar is open late and we always have the game on. We have 16 taps featuring mostly Maine micros, an extensive bourbon list and wine on tap.
Sonny's Bar and Lounge continues the farm to table tradition established at Local 188, chef Jay Villani and chef de cuisine Ethan Tobey infuse local ingredients with the flavors of Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico and the Southwestern U.S. Christina Klein is the creative force behind Sonny's amazing cocktail list and infusion program. The beer selections reflect a love affair with American craft brews but for those who like to keep things simple, High Life is always on draft.
