Item Description
Taylor House, an Italianate Victorian residence in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood, was built in 1853 for international merchant George Taylor. It is situated amid similar grand structures and lies less than a block from beautiful Jamaica Pond.
We welcome guests to the serenity of our home and the gardens that surround it. While we have used some antique furnishings, our interior is inspired by an extensive contemporary art collection and spiced with thrift shop finds. We take pride in the quality and ingenuity of our breakfasts, hoping to make food one of the highlights of your stay, and can accommodate vegan diets. Interesting restaurants and two forms of public transportation are close by.
We are pleased to offer spacious rooms, private baths, queen beds, cable, wifi, and a small business center.
