The winner of this package will receive an Oktoberfest Package experience with a three day/ two-night stay for two people in Munich, Germany with veteran guide Brett Harriman! 

Package includes:

• Accommodations for Two (in a centrally located, non-smoking hotel with free Wi-Fi)
• One dinner
• A handful of liter-sized beers
• All (public) transportation when traveling with the group
• A reservation at one of the Fest’s best beer tents
• Brett Harriman as your personal guide

There are two dates to choose from:

Package 3: September 24-26, 2016 (Sat-Mon) Middle Festival Weekend

OR

Package 5: October 1-3, 2016 (Sat-Mon) Closing Festival Weekend

So If you are flexible, have an adventurous side, lust for knowledge, like to explore history and generally have fun, this auction item is a must-win! 

Package itinerary:

DAY 1, (check-in) Saturday, at 5:30 p.m. we will meet at the hotel for introductions followed by an orientation tour of the Oktoberfest fairgrounds. (Optional dinner at a traditional Bavarian restaurant.)

DAY 2, Sunday, Morning tour of Munich old town. Afternoon free time. Harriman will offer sightseeing suggestions and general information. We’ll meet again at 4:15 p.m. in the hotel lobby for the climax of your Oktoberfest package: a reservation at one of the Fest’s best tents for dinner, beer and barrels of fun! (NOTE: Shops on Sunday will be closed, attractions will be open.)

DAY 3, Monday, Regrettably, it’s time to say Auf Wiederseh’n to the friends we’ve met. Our tour is over. Harriman will be in the lobby after breakfast bidding adieu to guests. (Check-out by noon.)

Established in 1810, Oktoberfest this year celebrates its 206th birthday. This year also marks Brett’s 18th Oktoberfest in Munich and he looks forward to sharing with you his passion for the world’s most famous folk festival.

After Berlin and Hamburg, Munich is Germany’s third largest metropolis. Often referred to as “the village of 1 million,” Munich is the proud capital of Bavaria, founded in the 8th century when monks formed a settlement on the Isar River. From this evolved Zu den Mönchen (literally “by the monks”) and today’s modern-day German name: München. Monks are the masters of brewing beer, and Munich, a settlement of monks, developed into an intoxicating hub – one that Harriman would love to acquaint you with.

There’s much to learn and explore on this exciting, culture-rich package. So come along and join Harriman in the capital of Bavaria where you’ll experience Munich and Oktoberfest like a local!

Auction is for either Package 3 or 5 ONLY. Ground package only, airfare or transfers not included. Winner can contact Brett Harriman to discuss package options, possible itinerary. 

The price does not cover breakfast, lunch, one dinner, and of course personal expenses, such as whatever you do on your free time.
All rooms are doubles and therefore the package is based on double occupancy. Two people must attend on this trip on account of the exorbitant room rates during Oktoberfest.
