Item Description
Step back in time as you enter Vie de Bohème, on Distillery Row (7th Ave.) in the hip Southeast Portland warehouse district, bringing an Old World bohemian spirit to life in a chic and spacious European-styled venue with outstanding live music, wine tastings, full bar, and well-stocked wine shop/library, along with great food, plenty of dancing room, wine classes, dance lessons, and private event space.
The two of you will relax with your certificate for a 5-wine flight.
Unwind, dance or just listen to an ever-changing musical lineup (see their weekly newsletter, under ‘upcoming events’), while sampling fine wines from the Pacific Northwest and beyond, or one of their fine whiskies or cocktails.
What’s with the name? Vie de Bohème means ‘the bohemian life’ – they take their name from the Parisian social movement of the late 19th century, which extolled a bohemian approach to life -- unconventional, creative, and anti-materialistic. The movement was embraced by well-known artists of the 19th and 20th century such as Gauguin, Matisse, and Toulouse-Lautrec.
(PS: This popular eastside venue is the location of the Alliance's Sunday conversation group, hosted by Alliance board member Jennifer Coyne.)
Visit the venue's website for the latest on their music calendar: http://www.viedebohemepdx.com/
Use the certificate by February 24, 2017.
