Established in 2008, Schakolad Birmingham Chocolate is making the world SWEETER, one bite at a time.
They are artisans of Fresh European style chocolates. Caramels, truffles, creams, fruit and/or nut clusters, dipped fruits, barks, chocolate strawberries, and more. The chocolates are created fresh and they do not add preservatives. Their flavors and designs are always changing - the chocolates look as good as they taste. Each piece is delicately crafted and meant to be savored.
Stop in and meet the chocolatiers - their chocolates are made on site!
Their specialty dark chocolate bars are available in many gourmet markets, bakeries and cafe's around Detroit and across the nation. Ingredients like Traverse City cherries and blueberries, Himalayan goji berries and pink salt, ginger and toasted coconut embedded into 72% Onyx dark chocolate. All natural, kosher, vegan, gluten free and non-GMO. Made in Michigan!
They host Private Chocolate Parties for adult groups from 10 to 30. Start with a chocolate champagne glass toast. Activities may include filling your own box of truffles, creating your own chocolate bar, hand-dipping your own chocolates, chocolate tastings, wine pairings, sampling brewed chocolate. Great for corporate entertaining, bachelorette parties, wedding/baby showers, girls nights out or just because it's time for some unique fun with a dose of education.
