Rachel Scienski CD(DONA) of Birth with Rachel has been a doula and student midwife for the greater part of the last decade. As another local small business, she appreciates the hard work put in by the staff at Families Together Cooperative Nursery School in Chicago.
This certificate can be used by or given as a gift to an expecting parent/couple, whether it's for their first child or a refresher course, in the comfort of their home. Topics will include stages of labor, when to go to the hospital (if applicable), communicating effectively in labor, pain management, exploring fears, new baby care, and emotionally navigating the transition to parenthood.
