This festive, wine- and beer-paired private dinner party for eight guests on the SF Peninsula or in North Lake Tahoe features the cuisine of Cutthroat Kitchen champion, Kellan Hori. "I love to eat, I love to cook, I love food. The best meals are prepared with good ingredients and good intention. I like to cook for people who enjoy food and great company."

Chef Kellan and his talented culinary team will work with you to design and then prepare a customized, full menu for you and your friends in the comfort of your own home.

Kellan and crew are not just cooks and servers, they’re hosts, cocktail gurus, and burgeoning sommeliers. With a focus always on the food, Kellan’s Kitchen also pays great attention to hosting, vibe, comfort and the vision of the host. "Everyone must walk out with a smile, full belly, and sometimes a nice buzz."

Kellan’s approach to food is naturally influenced by his native California background, world travels, and Japanese heritage. His palate is bright, fresh, tasty and (as one diner said) “makes you want to go back for seconds and thirds.” Kellan prides himself on his skill with meats and weighty proteins and he completes the plate with delicious salads, slaws, and approachably adventurous flavor combinations. He will never shy away from bacon.

Chef Kellan appeared on the First Season of Food Network’s show Cutthroat Kitchen hosted by Alton Brown in October. Through a mountain of adversity and challenges he came out on top as Champion.

For ease of planning, a designated person will serve as the liaison between Chef Kellan and you to coordinate the menu, wines, and beers for your special evening.
