Title & Artist:  "By the Grace of Cod" – by Cathy Marie Michael

Medium & Size:  Collage, watercolor, colored pencil, sacred geometry shapes hand-drawn with pen and ink, and stamped butterflies, on acid-free bristol board on wood. Glazed with Golden Medium.  21 7/8" L x 8 5/8" H x 3/4" D.  For indoor display only.

Artist Statement:  I create Art filled with Sacred Geometry and Mandalas. This Cod can be used to help ease one into a meditative state. Start by sitting.....breathing.....and relaxing. Stare at the Cod. If possible, concentrate on one geometric shape at a time. Each shape carries a different energy. At different times you may be drawn to different shapes in the Cod. Sit quietly and notice any feelings, colors, stirrings, or light that appear.

As an artist, I create playful, energetic works of Art that uplift and delight.

Artist Biography:  Currently I work as a Women's Empowerment Coach, helping women find the courage to break through their limiting beliefs, access their inner wisdom, and live the life they were meant to live.

Over the years I have worked in both oil and acrylic. Some of my favorite subjects are townscapes from travels in Europe and Latin America. Earlier I created one-of-a-kind sweaters with abstract designs, displayed them at the juried craft fair in Rhinebeck, NY, and sold them to Saks Fifth Avenue, Henri Bendel, and Lord & Taylor in New York City.

Hosting Business:  "By the Grace of Cod" is on display at Jambu, 38 Altantic Ave., Marblehead, MA.

Item Special Note

Pick-up of purchased cods will be on Tuesday evening, July 5. Winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.

If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.

Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.

If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
