Item Description

The perfect long weekend adventure getaway. This self-guided trip gives you a taste of everything there is to love about Northern California. Cycle Napa's endless vines, through rolling farmland, amongst majestic Redwood forests, alongside the Russian river, and down the coast listening to the waves crash against the cliffside. Pass through the towns of Napa, St. Helena, Callistoga, Healdsburg, Bodega Bay, Mt. Tamalpais, into the Marin Headlands, Point Reyes, and Sausalito. Along the way our friends at Ruston Vineyards and Lagunitas Brewery in Petaluma will give you an exclusive tour and tasting.

Ruston Vineyards will offer a tour, wine tasting and lunch for four people at the vineyard. Ruston Vineyards is a small, rustic organically farmed vineyard and wine produce west of the tow of St. Helena in the Napa Valley. Their wines have bene poured in some of the best restaurants in NYC, LA and San Francisco and are generally available only to their mailing list customers. Their flagship wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon, but they also make blends with  Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. For white wines they have a Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc and a Chardonnay from the Russian River, Sonoma County. They will start off your visit with a tasting of some of their current and older wines along with lunch in the vineyard, and then go into the caves to taste some new wines from the barrel. They will also ship a free case of wine to you so you can continue to enjoy their wines when you get home.
