This adventure for two offers behind-the-scenes tours to four remarkable San Diego nurseries, visits to glorious gardens, and abundant personalized horticultural expertise!

First stop is Dramm & Echter, a California flower grower of high-quality gerberas, lilies and roses. They grow over 40 varieties and have implemented many sustainable practices, including the use of beneficial insects and reclaiming all their water.

After that, you’ll visit the 25-acre Rancho Soledad Nursery, a premier grower of specialty agaves, bromeliads, succulents, tropicals, and more. You may purchase plants here if you like.

Lunch at the famous Stone Brewery in Escondido with its own amazing gardens is provided as part of this package.  

After lunch, we’ll head north to Bonsall, CA and visit the enormous growing grounds of EuroAmerican Propagators. You’ll see how the thousands of varieties of plants are produced and also visit their extensive trial gardens.

Our last stop is Waterwise Botanicals also in Bonsall CA with 20 acres of growing grounds and demonstration gardens where you’ll see succulents, cacti, roses, grasses and lots more. A great opportunity to shop for unique cultivars.

We will meet in Elfin Forest, CA which is a unique rural community just north of San Diego. From there, ground transportation will be provided for the tour.
