About Susan M. Rose
Susan M. Rose was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She began painting at an early age and knew she would become an artist and educator. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from Michigan State University as well as a Master of Arts degree in education. She completed further studies at Montana State University. She recently retired after 30 very rewarding years of teaching visual arts to K-12 students in the Grand Rapids area. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States and formed a deep affection for the Teton Range when she first visited with her family in 1963. She returned almost every summer for the next 50 years to sketch and paint. She currently divides her time between Teton Valley and Michigan and can be found enjoying the outdoors and sharing her enthusiasm for the arts. Susan has studied with: Scott L. Christensen, Matt Smith, Dave Santillanes, and Bill Davidson

Moving to Main Art Auction items that are purchased will be available for pick-up between October 4 and 21 at LowellArts, 149 S. Hudson Street, Lowell, MI 49331 during office hours (Tuesday - Friday 10am-5pm). Or, pick-up can be arranged by appointment - 616-897-8545 or info@lowellartsmi.org.
All Moving to Main Art Auction items can be shipped to the buyer upon request. LowellArts will package the piece and arrange shipping through UPS or Fed Ex. The buyer is responsible for covering the expense of packaging and shipping before the item is shipped.
