The classroom portion of the training will be held at 100 N. 5th St. in Murray. Come learn in a comfortable and friendly environment. We will make your experience enjoyable regardless of your skill level, from novice to expert.
Completion of the course requires passing an open-book test on the class material and hitting 11 of 20 shots on a silhouette target at 7 yards.
Equipment needed for the class will include a handgun (.22 caliber or larger, NO MAGNUMS), 20 rounds (50 recommended) of FACTORY ammunition (NO RELOADS), a firearm cleaning kit with supplies appropriate for your handgun, eye and ear protection, and a photo ID.
Firearms should be UNLOADED and in a case or holster for transporting to the classroom and the range. No ammunition is allowed in the classroom.
There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on alcohol. Alcohol should NOT be consumed 24 hours prior to class or during class.
We use an outdoor range for the shooting portion of the class so dress appropriately for the weather.
