Description: Degas' original painting ‘Three Dancers in an Exercise Hall,’ shows ballet dancers in an old Parisian building. They're captured in a private and relaxed moment while they're exercising and preparing for ballet class. I imagined what these three ballet dancers might be doing in a futuristic environment. The future is now--we're surrounded by new technology, living fast connected lives and forget to do things that take time to practice like ballet. It feels like an apocalypse or dystopian future, which is why included an alien presence.
