Item Description
The Stoneham Theatre produces 6-7 shows each year as part of their Mainstage series. As a professional not-for-profit regional theatre they work with the highest caliber of professional actors, directors and designers to create the highest quality theatre possible. Each person they welcome through their doors brings to the theatre different expectations, and each person leaves with a different experience. It's their goal that every time you visit Stoneham Theatre, you'll leave having been entertained, engaged, and a little bit surprised.
The mission of Stoneham Theatre is to keep the art of professional theatre and dramatic education thriving in the suburbs.
Gabriel is about WWII. It's 1943 in Guernsey, UK. 10-year-old Estelle and her family struggle to survive the German occupation of their island and keep hidden the Jewish identity of Estelle’s sister-in-law. When they discover a mysterious naked man washed up on the shore who has no memory of who he is and can find no way to determine if he is a Nazi or an ally, the family must decide whether to shelter this lost stranger or turn him over to the authorities.
