Item Description
This unique bowl is hand turned from silver maple by Jim Parker, father of Jeff Parker, past FEPS President.
The base is shaped to resemble a shallow ogee “sine-wave” that draws the eye from the rim to the base. The wide rim is tilted inward to draw the eye into the bowl and is undercut to create a pleasant shadow line. The rim itself is textured in a narrow band and the edge of the band is grooved and burned. Both are placed closer to the inside than the outside of the rim, again to help draw the eye inward.
Bowl measures 9” in diameter by 2.5” high.
