About the wine
Ridge Dusi Ranch Zinfandel
90 points Robert Parker
94 points Wine & Spirits
"A wine of great intensity, it can only be made in the best of warm vintages. Twelve months in barrel has rounded and integrated the tannins. This exotic wine has highlyscented bramble fruit, and the full, ripe flavors of a Paso Robles zinfandel."
Adelaida Estate Zinfandel
92 points Wine & Spirits
"AROMA: wild raspberries, black currants, dark chocolate, resinous underbrush. FLAVOR: red berry fruits with a sense of “nervosity”, dried sage, anise flavored dark chocolate. FOOD PAIRINGS: porterhouse steak, Chinese baby back ribs w/ hoisin sauce & honey, portabella buffalo burgers."
Cass Limited Release Paderewski Zinfandel
"Juicy bramble berry, plum preserves, stewed strewberry and fennel seed entice the nose. The palate is full and rips, reminiscent of warm rhubarb pie and allspice. A tight core of tannin and vibrant acidity are framed by flavors of star anise, vanilla bean, sweet blueberry and raspberry compote. The finish is lengthy, layered and lingering."
About the chocolate
Dandelion Chocolate is a bean-to-bar chocolate factory in the Mission District of San Francisco.
They roast, crack, sort, winnow, grind, conch, and temper small batches of beans and then mold and package each bar by hand. By sourcing high quality beans and carefully crafting tiny batches, they bring out the individual flavors and nuances of each bean.
