Beyond the Barre is an hour long fitness program that incorporates elements of pilates, yoga and resistance training. Using a variety of props including balls, weights, bands, sand bags, blocks, Viprs and a ballet barre, Beyond The Barre is a high-energy functional class that works your body from head to toe. The combination of strength training, flexibility and core conditioning exercises coupled with the muscle-shaping principles of isometrics and the intense pace of interval training systematically exhausts and tones all the muscles in your body. With dedication, you can expect to see noticeable results in a short period of time: an improved, leaner physique with stronger core muscles; improved strength and endurance; increased flexibility and better posture; and as an added bonus, increased bone density! This is not an ordinary barre class, it's an integrated full body workout.
