Item Description
Muir Woods Giclée Print 1995 framed 16"x21"
This is one image of a series of twelve posters which originally appeared around the San Francisco area in the Spring of 1996 as large, bus shelter posters as well as T-shirts, mugs and other retail items at each of the park sites.
"We wanted to create icons with a timeless, American style to them - reminiscent of WPA artwork from the 1930's." The typeface for this project is a digital version of Schwab Poster.
The response to this series of images was phenomenal. Most of the bus shelter posters were actually stolen from the frames.
