Item Description

1 bottle each:

2013 Peachy Canyon Winery, Mustard Creek, Adelaida District, Paso Robles

An estate vineyard designate Zinfandel from our Mustard Creek vineyard in Paso Robles, located in the northern area of the Adelaida District. A dry wine with notes of sweet fruit — raspberry and blackberry coupled with cinnamon and floral notes.

2015 Proulx, Paso Robles

Blueberry, black plum, dark chocolate, coffee and a little asphalt show on the nose of this bottling. The palate is medium bodied and relatively straightforward, yet shows a depth of noticeable tannins and dark fruit flavors.

2012 Cypher Winery, Clevenger Ranch, Paso Robles

On the nose: Dark berry fruit, blueberry and blackberry with baking spices and notes of cherry cola.

On the palate: Lush blueberry, boysenberry and red stone fruit. Rich earthy undertones laced with cedar and spice. Hints of eucalyptus trailing into a creamy subtle oak finish. A silky mouthfeel that slides along your palate leaving you wanting more.

2011 Ancient Peaks Winery, Paso Robles

This is a total deal with respect to a full flavored Zinfandel that is not over the top or too robust. It has a rich saturated color and lots of berry fruit. It is great for drinking now and over the next 5 to 6 years. This is on a par with producers of $25 or more Zinfandel. The Ancient Peaks Zinfandel is a balanced and rewarding bottle of wine.

2015 Sextant Wines, Genoa, Paso Robles

A Master Class in multi-vintage blending and small lot fermentations our Genoa is in a class of its own. A blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Zinfandel across multiple vintages each blend of our Genoa has a portion of all of the previous vintages as part of its lineage. Our XVI Genoa, like all of our Genoa blends, carries the soul of the past and allows a glimpse into the future.

2013 Shale Oak Winery, Paso Robles

Balanced beautifully with small amounts of Syrah, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot in the blend, this vintage offers aromas of tobacco and cherry liqueur. Not your usual Paso jammy Zin, deep dark fruit flavors and a relaxed mellow spiciness are nicely balanced by bright acidity. Aged in 30% new French oak.
