Item Description
Currently, there are over 500 schools that accept the Common Application throughout the United States and Western Europe. This course is a one-week crash course that offers a combination of small group and one-on-one tutorials to take students through the entire essay-writing process using current essay prompts from the Common Application. By the end of this workshop, students will have at least one polished essay that can be used during their college application process in the fall. Course includes four class sessions and an hour-long one-on-one session. July 31 - August 3, 2017 10am - 11:30am. Tutoring session is flexible. For incoming high school seniors.
About the Tutor: Kathleen Hunt teaches English at Cascia Hall. She holds degrees in English and Spanish from The University of Arkansas and a Masters Degree in English from Oklahoma State University. She has five years of classroom teaching experience, including at the collegiate level and as a writing tutor at Oklahoma State University's writing center.
