Item Description

Lookout (Framed)

Color Linocut Print.
Printed by hand on 14" x 24" white Rives BFK paper.
Signed, numbered, and embossed.
Edition of 100.

Eric Rewitzer was born and raised on the industrial shores of Lake Michigan. He studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and moved to the west coast in 1987. Eric finds constant inspiration in the scale and diversity of the California culture and landscape. For the last 20 years, he has not stopped looking at the city he calls home, San Francisco. He finds it to be an amazing mix of natural beauty, urban grit, and human diversity. Eric takes great satisfaction in hand carving linoleum blocks and printing them on his Conrad Machine etching press in his light-filled studio he shares with his wife, Annie Galvin, also an artist.

Together, Eric and Annie started 3 Fish Studios in January 2007 in order to create a space where they could make art, listen to music, teach classes, and experiment with their work. They are strong believers in the collaborative process of creating and sharing art, and they love to be surrounded by the vibrancy of creative people exchanging ideas.

You are welcome to visit 3 Fish Studios in person. It is located in the Outer Sunset district of San Francisco, part of a growing community of small, creative businesses near the beautiful, cool Pacific Ocean.  Open every day from 10 to 6.
